Also asked to talk to a manager about the wait time to return and i was told they said just wait. What about people who have things to do, who wants to wait 40 minutes for one return?! Why are there 15 or so registers and only ever 2-3 open?

So i buy a KALLAX shelf, i was in and out of the store in 20 minutes. When putting it into my car i notice a corner of the box had a little smoosh. I open it and look, some paint is chipped, I come in, buy a new one, in and out in 5 minutes this time.
Then come in to return the damaged one. Ive been waiting longer to return it then i have been in the store. It has roughly taken 40 minutes to return an item. To drill all this home, heres the next few pieces that seriously earn that one star which should be negative 5 stars. Not only is the staff sometimes rude but its so hard to find someone to help you in some areas.

(it is only a 3 hour round trip for me!!). I ask if they can ship them with the $24k in cabinets we have already paid to be delivered in a few weeks - No Can Do!!! So alas yet another wasteful trip back for items on the shelf that they cannot deliver... Subcontracted delivery guys took much persuasion to take cabinets to second level where kitchen is going.
As a bonus just about everything on the floor was last chance as well. Ikea actually would not sell to us. Then we spent over half an hour looking for an exit the signs didnt help and sent us in a loop.

There's a lot of designer room setups with nice looking modern furniture. The prices aren't terrible but they shouldn't be for furniture you'll have to assemble yourself.
